A Special Birthday Present

On Kahli's 4th birthday, she received a pair of red "Dorothy" shoes - just what she wanted.

She loved them so much, I allowed her to wear them to her preschool class the next day.

Her teacher told me that around 11:00 AM Kahli appeared to be tired...

Shortly after that, she saw Kahli stand, click her heels together, and say - repeatedly, "I want to go home. I want to go home ... "
