Talk to Santa

When Santa Claus visited our elementary school, he eventually made his way down the hall to my classroom of kindergartners.

Some of the children ran and talked to Santa eagerly, while others remained quiet, even aloof.

At first, Mickey was one of the ones that was too shy to talk to Santa, but when she realized he was going out the door, she suddenly became brave.

"Hey Santa," she yelled across the classroom, "don't forget MY presents! They're on lay-a-way, over there at WalMart!"
