What? ... Too much?

Eating dinner with kids can sometimes be a chore. Trying to get them to eat "new" food or - in their eyes - "gross" food can be exhausting sometimes.

Other times it can just crack you up.

It's dinner time ... I'm watching the plate of food set in front of our son pretty much stay stationary. Nothing moved onto his fork and even close to his mouth.

After a few minutes he asked if he could be finished. My response was I wanted him to eat a little more broccoli.

He gave me a look ... Then he slowly lifted the broccoli to his mouth and took the tiniest bite. He did this several times.

I finally couldn't stand it any more. At the next bite I said to him that when I mentioned I wanted him to eat more broccoli the amount he had wasn't quite what I had in mind.

He looked straight at me and said, "What? ... Too much?"

We both started laughing so hard I forgot all about the broccoli.
